Originally
from Northern California in
a small town called Folsom,
Ca. Mark entered the US Navy
in September of 1990, while
in boot camp he was given
the opportunity to try out
for the military's elite Navy
SEAL training. Out of 300
candidates, 2 qualified for
SEAL training. Mark was formed
up into a class of 130 SEAL
trainees but only 25% finished
their training after many
grueling months.
Upon graduation from BUD/S
(Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL
School) Mark was assigned
to SEAL Team 3. Mark soon
became Bravo Platoon's radio
and communications expert
and put his training to the
test in the Somalia conflict.
While over in Somalia Mark
was constantly approached
by numerous sailors and marines
to put together a workout
based on the SEAL training.
The results were so phenomenal
that Mark was prompted to
go public with this amazing
workout.
With no previous publishing,
sales or advertising background
Mark soon found himself on
nationally recognized TV shows,
magazines and newspapers.
This exposure helped propel
Mark's book, "Navy SEAL Workout"
to a best seller. This experienced
landed Mark a position in
a highly recognized advertising
agency in San Diego (The Flowers
Group). One of his clients
with the agency saw the same
potential with Mark and asked
him to come on board. The
American Council on Exercise
(ACE) immediately put Mark
to work as an advertising
account executive and corporate
relations director. Extended
roles also included co-op
advertising and corporate
relations to help expand ACE's
role as a non-profit organization
in their market.
Mark soon met Wendy De Lisle
and relocated to Utah to be
with her. Mark soon began
to work on his sequel "Navy
SEAL Breakthrough To Master
Level Fitness" which has just
been released. Gold's Gym
has a franchise in Northern
Utah that is recognized as
one of the top franchises
in the nation. CEO Ron Littlebrant
found out about Mark's background
and asked him to come on board
to expand their corporate
relations and corporate sales
department. Mark's drive and
aggressiveness learned from
the Navy SEALs helped him
to double and triple previous
sales records for this company
in corporate sales. Mark is
now working on the long awaited
DVD serious that you have
found through Special Ops
Fitness.
